Frequently asked questions

Clear answers to the questions we hear most often. If yours is not here, just ask — we reply within one business day.

How much does a certified translation cost in Grenada?

Prices depend on the language pair, the length and complexity of the document, the type of certification needed and the deadline. Send us a scan or photo and we will reply with a free, fixed quote — usually within one business day.

What is the difference between an apostille and embassy legalization?

An apostille is a single certificate used between countries that are party to the 1961 Hague Apostille Convention. Countries that are not party to the Convention require consular or embassy legalization instead, which usually involves several successive stamps. We tell you which one your destination country requires.

Who issues apostilles in Grenada?

Grenada is a party to the Hague Apostille Convention. The competent authority designated to issue apostilles for Grenadian public documents is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade in St. George's. We can prepare and submit documents on your behalf.

Can I send my documents by email?

Yes. For most translations a clear scan or photo is enough to start. If an original must be presented — for example for an apostille or a certified true copy — we explain how to get it to us safely.

Are your translations accepted by the Citizenship by Investment Unit, courts and embassies?

Our certified translations include a signed statement of accuracy and the translator's details, which is the format generally required by Grenadian authorities, embassies and universities. Because requirements can change, we always confirm the specific requirements of the receiving authority before we start.

How long does it take?

A certified translation of a standard civil document is often ready within 2–3 business days, and express service is available. Apostilles and embassy legalizations depend on the processing times of the authorities involved; we give you a realistic timeline with your quote.

Do you work with clients outside Grenada?

Yes. Many clients live abroad and need Grenadian documents retrieved, translated or legalized — or need foreign documents prepared for use in Grenada. Everything can be arranged remotely.

Which languages do you work with?

More than 30 languages, including Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Italian, Russian, Ukrainian, Chinese, Arabic, Turkish, Hindi and Haitian Creole. Rare languages are available on request through our international network.
