Consulate and embassy legalization
Countries that are not party to the Hague Apostille Convention require consular legalization: a chain of successive certifications — typically by a notary or issuing authority, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and finally the embassy or consulate of the destination country.
Each embassy has its own rules, fees, forms and processing times. We manage the whole chain for you, including certified translations where required, and coordinate with embassies in the region or abroad when the destination country has no mission in Grenada.

Frequently asked questions
When do I need embassy legalization instead of an apostille?
When the country where the document will be used is not party to the Apostille Convention. We tell you which procedure applies as soon as we know your destination.
What if the embassy is not in Grenada?
Many countries cover Grenada from an embassy elsewhere in the Caribbean or in the Americas. We coordinate submission with the competent mission through our network.
How long does legalization take?
It depends on the embassy and the number of steps. Some legalizations take a few days; others take several weeks. We give you a realistic estimate with your quote.
