Apostille services in Grenada
An apostille is a certificate that authenticates the signature, seal or stamp on a public document so it is recognised in other countries that are party to the 1961 Hague Apostille Convention. Grenada is a party to the Convention, and apostilles for Grenadian public documents are issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade.
We prepare your documents, check that they are eligible, arrange any notarisation needed beforehand, submit them and collect the apostilled documents. We also coordinate apostilles on documents from other countries — for example a birth certificate from Venezuela or a diploma from France that must be used in Grenada.

Frequently asked questions
Which countries accept an apostille?
All countries that are party to the Hague Apostille Convention — more than 120, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, all EU countries, most of Latin America and many Caribbean states. For other countries, embassy legalization is required instead.
Does the translation also need an apostille?
It depends on the destination. Some countries want the apostille on the original document, others on the translation, and some on both. We check this before we start.
Can you get an apostille on a document from another country?
Yes. An apostille must be issued in the country that issued the document. Through our international network we coordinate apostilles in many countries and deliver the documents to you in Grenada.
